We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 201 O’Neal Suite. Our chats
were special too. The amenities were great, and the view was
awesome.

Our stay with you at Captains Landing has been wonderful. We sure do
like the location, everything in the suite and you have taken good
care of us. Thank you for “keeping us off the road”. What stories to
tell. We love watching the pelicans and all the birds The view
across the lake is such a pleasure. The radio, the phone charger,
the videos and that delicious cake. Wow! You made us feel at home
and more than welcome. Last but not least, cleaning our car. Thank

Expedition and assistance docking the boat were greatly appreciated.
You both went above and beyond to assist us when our other
accommodations fell through. The Captain’s Landing will always be

The nine-hour drive back home gave us plenty of time to reflect
aloud upon the pleasures of visiting Ocracoke once again (twenty or
so years later). What a remarkably unspoiled paradise it remains
still, despite its discovery by tourists all over cyberspace. Your
lovely Inn blends right in with the old world charm of the creek.
Certainly one of the most hospitable ports anywhere. Barry and I
were flattered beyond words to be treated like family during our all
too brief stay. We will always remember our experiences, touring
around on your sturdy bicycles, spending the day at the nearly
uninhabited beach, shopping, eating crab and shrimp, and most of
all, hanging out with your friends and family. We look at the lovely
picture you gave us and dream of our next visit! Thanks a million
for everything.

Just a quick note of appreciation for your warm hospitality this
week. The room was a bargain, and when combined with your “hands on
“ style, needless to say you have a new repeat customer. I had
warned the children not to expect “The Floridian” type
accommodations but they agreed with me that the home grown
atmosphere of “The Captain’s Landing” rated it’s own five stars.
Although the rain hampered our outside activities, the DVD loans
were a trip saver.
I think we will try the penthouse next visit. Thanks again.
